Kelly Mason was born in Canada and raised in both Trinidad, W.I and Canada. She realized the Southern Nicoya community is in crisis from the unpaved, dusty roads. She founded the Pave the Road initiative and is committed to creating the changes necessary for the people and the children of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula to thrive. Kelly’s background is mainly in the film industry and became the first female Director of Photography in the union of International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE) 669. Kelly is a visionary and led the way in the development of the Motion Picture Division of Getty Images and the formation of the IATSE 667 Trainee Division and the Film Commission in Trinidad, W.I Kelly is dedicated to implementing eco-friendly road technologies to protect school children from airborne pollution by using recycled plastic waste in road construction.
Javier Adrián Alfaro
Javier Adrian Alfarao holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and over 10 years of experience in the Banking industry (Banex-HSBC 2004-2009 and Banco Popular from 2011-2013). Currently, Adrian provides legal and administrative counselling regarding brand registration, insurance, taxes, legal permits and procedures. He also offers real estate and legal guidance services for foreign investors.
Eylin Araya Guzman
Eylin Araya Guzman loves children and is a devoted team member. Prior to becoming a Mom, Eylin gained her personability in the cruise ship industry (Royal Caribbean) where she then travelled the world for 9 years. After covering most of the globe on her travels, she now resides back in her homeland of Costa Rica where she is enjoying family life with her husband and two children.
Paul Harrison was born and raised in Scotland and is based in Costa Rica. Paul is the Marketing Director for Pave the Road, and is responsible for social media campaigning, brand management, and corporate sponsorships. Paul is admired for his creativity, drive, passion and personability. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the reach of Pave the Road.
Anita Rondon has a degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration. She has worked in the marketing and customer service industry for numerous multinational companies. She is focused on adding value to customers through the B2B approach.
Pablo Araya Guzman
Pablo Araya Guzman is the technical director at the Gravite Gymnastics Club in Costa Rica. He has been accredited by the International Gymnastics Federation and holds a degree in physical education from the University of Costa Rica. Pablo is passionate about helping children thrive.
Greivin Mora Vargas
Greiven Mora Vargas is a Civil Engineer with 10+ years experience in road infrastructure as a project manager. Greiven works with both the public and private sectors. Trained at the University of Costa Rica, he is a socially conscious professional, focused on the development of progressive technologies.
Frank Clegg is CEO of the non-profit organization, Canadians for Safe Technology (C4ST), now the leading advocate for wireless radiation safety. Mr. Clegg was President of Microsoft Canada Co. from September 2000 to January 2005 and prior to that he was Vice President, Central Region of Microsoft Corporation. Mr. Clegg is a member of the Indigo Audit and HR and Compensation Committees and is the Technology Advisor to the Indigo Board of Directors.
Geoffrey Bird is a marketing communications professional based in Vancouver, Canada. He has over 25 years of experience helping companies and not-for-profit organizations connect with key stakeholders and prosper through long-term relationships. Along with his work as a marketing consultant, he is accomplished writer, photographer, and educator. He is currently employed as an instructor in the Marketing Management Program in the School of Business at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Carole Dean founded the largest reproducer of film and tape stock in the Hollywood Film Industry. Carole gives back through her non-profit organization, From the Heart Productions. Her program has granted more then $2,000,000 to date. From the Heart Productions looks for projects that are unique and makes a contribution to society like Pave the Road. Carole believes that Pave the Road is a very important enviro-social movement and has been actively involved as an advisor since the conception of the initiative in 2012.
